Cathy Lomasney, an agent in ERA Key's Billerica office, has been named among the top five agents in Middlesex County by RateMyAgent, a client review and digital marketing platform for real estate professionals.
It was the second consecutive year during which she was named to the top five. Last year, she was named the top agent. RateMyAgent considers more than 234,000 agents nationally in its rankings.
The Agent of the Year Awards are the first industry-wide awards based on client satisfaction rather than sales volume, according to RateMyAgent, which says, “Client reviews provide powerful proof of an agent’s trust, transparency and authenticity when dealing with clients. These awards celebrate Agents and Realtors® who create remarkable client experience throughout the entire real estate transaction process.”
Lomasney, who has been a real estate professional since 2005, is frequently among ERA Key’s top agents. For 2023, she received the Circle of Honor Award, which includes agents who have sold at least 25 units or a total volume of at least $3 million.
She is an Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR), an Accredited Staging Professional Real Estate Agent (ASPRE®), a Certified Buyer Representative (CBR), a Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE), a Certified Selling Professional (CSP), a Military Relocation Professional (MRP), a Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) and a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES). In addition, she has earned the At Home with Diversity (AHWD) designation, e-Pro Internet professional designation, the GREEN designation for energy efficiency and sustainability, and Loss Mitigation Certification (LMC).
She is also active in the agency’s charitable contributions, including leading the annual Toys for Tots collection of children’s toys for Christmas.
She attended the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, and Northeastern University, Boston. She is a member of the Women’s Council of Realtors, the Greater Boston Association of Realtors, the Massachusetts Association of Realtors, the New Hampshire Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
